About Vanessa White

While studying Horticulture at Kemptville College, I took several courses in Floral Design. Over the past seven years I have designed and made the florals for quite a few weddings as well as arrangements for birthdays, Christmas and other occasions. Wildflowers, greenery, garden flowers and even herbs often take part in my designs. I prefer to try and source as much local greenery, filler and flowers as I can. This accomplishes two things. The first, is that it lowers the cost for the customer! Secondly, it decreases the amount of greenhouse flowers used which consume a lot of resources to produce (from fertilizer to heating to transportation). I truly enjoy designing and executing beautiful bouquets, corsages and other arrangements. I can also work with almost any budget.

How it All Works

After contacting me, we arrange a time for an initial consultation. If you have pictures from magazines, Pinterest or other sources this is the time to bring them. Also, it is good to have some idea of your budget at this time. Together we will figure out how many bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and other arrangements you would like. We will also decide on a colour theme and flowers. I will then give you a quote for the entire project. The customer can either arrange for pick-up the day before or day of the occasion. Alternatively, I can deliver and position your flowers for an additional charge. Because I work by myself, I can only do one wedding a week. So please contact me well in advance to reserve your date. Cost varies depending on the flowers chosen and the intricacy of the design.
